We’re happy to help you. Select “Change My Mailing Address” from the “How can we help you today?” menu in the support form below. Answer the few questions that follow and we’ll process your address change as swiftly as we can (usually in 1-2 days - though we print our envelopes in advance, so it may take a bit longer to reflect in your mysteries).

No problem! You can update your start date from the support form below. Please note: Because of our account activation process, we are unable to fit new orders into upcoming mailings at the last minute.

I Want To Update My Detective’s Name

Easy! Visit the support form at the bottom of this page, select “Change My Recipient’s name” from the “How can we help you today?”, and fill out the brief name change form below.

I Want To Pause Or Resume My Subscription

Once again, visit the support form at the bottom of this page. Select “Pause my membership”, answer a few brief questions, and we’ll pause your membership as soon as possible. We are unable to prevent the mailing of letters already prepared for mailing.

Do You Offer Any Discounts For Veterans Or First Responders?

Can You Schedule My First Mysterious Letter To Arrive On A Precise Date?

No. Unfortunately mailing is an inexact science. First-Class mail can take up to five business days to arrive, or as little as two (depending on where you live, and other random postal factors). International First-Class mail can take from 7-21 days, depending where in the world you live, and the quality of your local postal service.

Because of this unpredictability, and because we only regularly transport our letters to USPS once per week, we are unable to schedule a letter’s arrival.

You can get general status updates on your order from members.dearholmes.com. If your order seems to be delayed and you need more specific information, please contact us here. USPS does not offer real-time tracking of stamped First-Class Mail, so once your letter is in the mail we have no way to track its exact location.

What Is Your Average Support Response Time?

Almost all week-day support requests receive a response within a day. If you haven’t received a response to your question within 24 hours (excluding weekends), please check your spam/bulk mail folder. The spam folder is the #1 home for missing support emails.
